Benefits Realisation Tracking

The follow-through process that closes the loop between promised and delivered benefits. Every business case commitment lands in the benefits register with an owner in the sponsoring business unit — benefits are owned by the business that claimed them, not by the delivery team that shipped the software. The register is reviewed monthly by the Business Transformation Office: benefits on track, benefits at risk with a recovery action, and benefits written off with sponsor sign-off. Twice a year the aggregate is reported to the executive committee, comparing realised benefits against the investment released through the gates. The register is visible on this portal, so any team can see what their initiative promised.
